From South to North, from the Uvdah air force base near Eilat up to Avnei Aitan in the Golan Heights, dozens of mikva'ot (ritual baths) built by the TAHARAT HABAYIT organization are helping spread the word of tahara (ritual purity) in Israel. TAHARAT HABAYIT was founded in 2005, aiming to transform the mikva'ot scene in Israel. No more unkempt mikva'ot, no longer are women being put off from going to perform tevilah (ritual immersion) for esthetic reasons.
